Our voices are powerful tools for transformation.
From a joyful laugh, to a weary sigh, to a startled scream, to a moan of pleasure or pain, we naturally use our voices to release emotions and move energy. Through the vibrations of the voice, you can heal your physical and emotional self, you can carry your intention to manifest your desires, and you can deepen your spiritual connection. No singing required! All you need is an open mind and open heart.
Sound therapist, vocalist, music teacher, and Reiki Master Teacher, Rachel Johnson of In Tune Reiki (http://intunereiki.com) will lead you in a spiritual, safe, and simple participatory experience of sound and energy. You will leave the workshop relaxed and revitalized with an understanding of the basics of toning and chant that you can easily incorporate into your daily life. Some of the vocal methods covered are: toning the chakras, the six healing sounds of QiGong, and overtone chanting.
This workshop is wonderful for people of all beliefs and abilities, but is best suited for ages 13 and older.
Workshop is an hour-long intensive so please arrive promptly. No admittance for late arrivals.
